Olympos Fethiye Cruise
OLYMPOS TO FETHIYE BLUE CRUISE 3 NIGHTS 4 DAYS / OR ONE WEEK
Blue Cruise olympos:
DAY 1: Pick up from Olympos between 10:00 -10:30 am. Bus transfer to Demre. Departure from the harbour of Demre between 1 and 2pm. Pirates Cave, Sunken City of Kekova (this Lycian-Roman archaeological site is protected, so only looking permitted, no swimming or snorkeling!). Simena, a traditional Turkish fishing village with no car access and Byzantine/Ottoman castle. In Gokkaya Bay watersports are available. Dinner, relax in this pirates haven or pary the night away at the Smugglers Inn.
DAY 2: After breakfast, departure to Kas where we first have a swim in a nice and quiet bay in front of the little town and then stop in the harbour for lunch and visit of this charming fishing village. Of ancient Antiphellos, as Kas once known, only Lycian rock tombs and sarcophagi and the Roman theatre are left. But the charm of the town forever remains. Near Kalkan we stop in Aquarium or Firnaz bay (dinner and 2nd night).
DAY 3: Around sunrise we depart for Butterfly Valley where we stop (if weather permits!) for breakfast, swimming and to visit this natural beauty, hosting 136 different kinds of butterflies and moths. Ölüdeniz (The Blue Lagoon, if weather permits!), is oPur next stop. Optional paragliding available. In a bay near Ölüdeniz we have lunch. Last stop of the day is St. Nicholas Island. Visit the Byzantine ruins, swim, dinner and 3rd night.
DAY 4: Breakfast, then departure for Samanlik Bay (swim and lunch). Finally we sail to Fethiye harbour where we arrive between 1 and 2pm.
Optional activities:
Paragliding: over Ölüdeniz (Blue Lagoon) - 2000 meters high from Baba mountain: fligh over the best beach in Europe...in one word- amazing!
It's easier than you think; you just walk down the hill tandem (with a pilot). You're in the air on your 2nd or 3rd step, then swooping down really smoothly above one of the best paragliding areas in the world for up to 45 minutes, before landing on the beach. Please be reminded that you must book this ahead, so we can arrange a speed boat pick up/drop off service to the boat. This service is included in total price.
Diving in Kas (or Fethiye): Kas is a favourite spot for diving in Turkey. You can see some Ottoman ships or German planes from the Second World War, there are also some ancient ruins to see. We can arrange this experience for you.
